Coincidentally, I will be reviewing the TV show “Samantha Who?” tomorrow and it occurs to me that Deb LaFave looks much like that show’s lead character, Christina Applegate.

LaFave’s claim to fame is that she had sex with a 14 year old boy in school and in her house. Yes, LaFave is a beautiful woman with a couple of screws loose.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A former teacher serving house arrest for having sex with a 14-year-old student was arrested on charges of violating her probation, state records show.
According to a Department of Corrections report, Debra Lafave discussed her personal life and other subjects with a teenage waitress at a restaurant where both worked. One of the terms of her probation was that she was not allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors without permission.
First, it’s not at all clear just what kind of conversation Debra was having with this 17 year old girl but to have LaFave arrested for it as a violation of her probation seems extreme. Evidently, and wisely, LaFave is no longer allowed to teach because I don’t care if the woman is every young adolescent boy’s wet dream, we don’t want our teachers seducing our children. Pretend, yon male readers, that parents are the adults here.
The problem with that original crime was that it was for sure that this teacher vamp would have went to jail and all involved, the victim, the perp, the school system and all attorneys, agreed that it would be sufficient punishment to keep this woman out of teaching and to put her on a strict probation. The national lament was that if LaFave were a male teacher acting in the same manner with a female student that HE would, for sure, be thrown in the slammer. Which is probably true and prosecutors have to face reality with these things.
17 years old is quite high in terms of adolescent age so I don’t know what could possibly have been so harmful in any female discussions LaFave and this older adolescent female could have engaged in but without knowing the details, I must assume that there’s enough here to warrant re-arresting LaFave for violating her probation. She was not allowed to engage in any activity with adolescents during her probation and evidently LaFave couldn’t behave.
Lori Drew Harassed by Online Avengers

With ruthless efficiency, they have learned the identity of the suburban St. Louis woman whose cyberspace meddling appears to have played a role in the suicide of a 13-year-old neighbor girl.
13 year old Megan Meier was a neighbor of the Drew family and she struck up an online friendship on Myspace with a boy named Josh.
Only Josh was a fake character who pretended an interest in Megan. Josh’s character was played online by Lori Drew, her daughter and a teenager who worked for Drew. Megan allowed Josh access to her Myspace pages thus allowing the Drews to monitor what Megan was saying about the Drew daughter.
Yeah, parents getting involved in this kind of thing is a bit hard to believe. Why on earth would a parent care so much what another kid was saying about his or her child? Kids are always saying stuff about each other. Parents might get involved if things get out of hand but this creation of a fake character and all the time spent involved in this seems very strange.
At some point one of the three pretending to be Josh, with whom Megan was enamored and did NOT know he was fake, revealed that Josh was fake and sent a bunch of very mean messages to the very naïve and vulnerable Megan. Not only did Megan suffer a broken heart that her beloved Josh was not real, other messages were cruel, taunting Megan that no boy would ever like her, that’s she’s too ugly…on and on.
Megan, in her despair, took a rope and hung herself.
Lori Drew and her family have since went into hiding as there has been a major backlash over what they did to Megan.

Lookit, there isn’t a whole of excuse for Lori Drew and her childish behavior for an adult woman. I’ll even go out on a limb and speculate that she can’t be much of a role model for her daughter she was trying to protect so oddly but two things…first, it wasn’t, allegedly, Lori Drew who wrote those awful things to Megan. It was her adolescent employee but hey, three people were pretending to be Josh so who can know who typed what? Second, it’s simply not normal for a human being to kill themselves over a life’s disappointment and anyone who does so, it could be argued, might be a Darwin candidate.
Think about it. On any given day, how many people die, how many babies are suddenly miscarried, how many tests are failed, how many lovers fight and break up? On any given day there is heartbreak all over the planet, huge, crushing heartbreak. Then compare to all the heartbreak to how many people end their lives as a result. Of course I don’t have any idea of the numbers but few people commit suicide and here lately the one who do get plenty of air time as they often like to take guns and kills others along with themselves.
It isn’t as if anyone could have predicted, statistically, that Megan Meier would take her own life over a harsh hoax. Harsh hoaxes are played on people every day. It’s not nice and I’d like to see such activity end but it’s not normal to kill yourself in response.
Although hey, if the online avengers want to go after Lori Drew, the mother without a lick of sense much less maturity, I’m not going to chastise them. She behaved badly so boohoo. Get over it. An adult woman setting up a fake guy to fool a vulnerable young teen is certainly not a nice person.
Still I really wanted to point out that Megan’s reaction was simply not normal and if anything, let’s teach our children how to best handle life’s heartbreaks.

A photo of John Darwin with wife Anne, apparently taken in Panama in July last year, has added further mystery to the bizarre story of the back-from the-dead canoeist.
Mr Darwin, who was arrested shortly after midnight yesterday at the home of one of his sons in Hampshire, is smiling contentedly in the photo, looking fit and tanned.
The remarkable photo was published by The Daily Mirror after they were discovered on the website of a removals company called Move To Panama.
Heh.
Seems this fine pair got it into their head that they were going to fake a death, collect on the life insurance, and ride off into the sunset happily ever after.

I fell asleep before I learned so the latest on this fellow is the picture above. Yes, it’s Mr. and Mrs. Darwin pictured on a web site about Panama. Taken during the years when Darwin was supposed to be DEAD.

First the Cowpile brothers, Deepshit and Shitish, were released. Aruban law evidently allows suspects to be held for a set number of days or until a judge determines there’s not enough evident to hold them. Now Urine has been released.

As I understand it, there’s a statute of limitations in investigating a case and if the suspects are not finally arrested they then can not be bothered again. That limitation period is expected to expire soon.
Could the country of Aruba, which has suffered mightily in terms of reputation and likely suffered the loss of tourism, been putting on one final show to illustrate to us dumb Americans that they really are trying to find out what happened to Natalee Holloway? Goodness knows there’s been arrests of all sorts of folks, searches of landfills and beachfronts…on and on.
Has it all been to fool us that we will continue to visit their island or send our daughters there that Urine, Deepshit and Shitish can have their fun with them then toss them aside?
I will pray for the rest of my life that any hurricanes on the horizon just, boom, wipe Aruba right off the map.

Wayne DuMond-Bad News Since 1972 So Why Was a Governor of Arkansas All Over the Place to Set This Man Free?
We must all remember the story of Wayne DuMond the next time some liberal gets up in our face arguing the innocence of this wrongly jailed criminal or that one over there. Because convicted rapist Wayne DuMond had a bevy of defenders, including church ladies, famous pundits and a Governor. Wayne DuMond got his freedom thanks to all these fine folk who went to the mat defending him. He even married one of his church lady buddies who visited him in jail every week, such a fine man...such stupid women.
Within six months of his release, DuMond raped and suffocated Carol Shields. Some Arkansas Blogger should look up DuMond's very bright wife who married this jailbird and ask her how did it feel to have the man you worked so hard to free up and murder someone six months after her wedding? DuMond is believe to have murdered another Missouri woman but was never charged.
Or how about some Arkansas Blogger looks up the fine and intelligent Jay Cole, a Baptist minister and conservative talk show host who spent ten years championing the release of DuMond and ask him how does it feel to know your efforts likely cost two women their lives, one the mother of six children?
Or hey, Steve Dunleavy, once host of "A Current Affair" was a great defender of DuMond, even calling DuMond's rape victim a "so-called" victim and the rape "That rape that never happened." I'd like to know how the very intelligent Dunleavy feels now that the fine man he so defended murdered two more women and what he would say to Carol Shields' six children whose mother died after being raped by Dunleavy's hero, Wayne DuMond.

this 2005 article in the Arkansas Times by Murry Waas when the devil finally took DuMond to hell to live in flames. This article was written in 2005 and is a reprint of the 2002 piece on Wayne DuMond.
The occasion prompts us to republish Murray Waas' prize-winning article for the Arkansas Times in 2002 about the extraordinary steps Gov. Mike Huckabee took to help win Dumond's freedom. He has since blamed others for Dumond's release to kill again, but his actions over many years demonstrated his support for Dumond and, ultimately, the instrumental role he played in the parole board's decision to free him.
As detailed in Waas' article, Mike Huckabee was up to his neck in the release of criminal, rapist and murderer, Wayne DuMond.
Sure he smiles affably when queried about the matter now that he wants to be our president and shrugs. No, he lies, he had very little to do with obtaining the release of Wayne DuMond, just the sort of thing a Governor does the friendly Huckabee explains.
Bullshit.
Mike Huckabee personally attended the parole board meeting considering DuMond's release. Further, Huckabee had that parole board meeting go into executive session, something totally unallowed per the Freedom of Information Act. Huckabee manipulated DuMond's transfer to another institution to better meet a deadline to get DuMond paroled and he twisted arms all over the place to get his hero DuMond released.
In an effort to handle PR fallout, Huckabee did meet with DuMond's rape victim who got him thrown into jail in the first place, Ashley Stevens, as well as her father and the prosecutor on the case. According to those meeting attendees, Huckabee didn't want to hear the truth. He told Stevens that there was NO DNA evidence implicating DuMond, which was a lie. Stevens was raped in 1985. Back then DNA profiles were not as sophisticated as they are today. Either NO DNA was collected or what had been collected was lost. There was no DNA evidence for reasons other than the fact that DuMond didn't do it.
Huckabee's fingerprints are all over every aspect of the DuMond release and I don't for a minute buy his sincere regret over the rape/murder of two women because of his actions. Oh I'm sure Huckabee regrets that his hero DuMond went on and raped and murdered two more women but the way this preacher man is lying about his involvement I can only assume his regret is due to the damage it might do to his candidacy.
It isn't clear just why Mike Huckabee got himself so involved in the release of this DuMond creep, especially right after his election. The unkind might suggest that some of those church people, like maybe those stupid women who were so in love with this guy, contributed mightily to his campaign. It could be that Huckabee truly believed in DuMond's innocence although to say that DuMond has a pristine record prior to his rape of Ashley Stevens would also be a lie. It would only have taken minimal investigation to discover that DuMond was involved in the murder of a man in 1972 and confessed to the rape of another woman later. DuMond had a very extensive criminal history and I'd think a Governor had the power and resources to check it out.
Mike Huckabee made a terrible mistake. A terrible, terrible mistake and if you and I had done such a horrible thing in our job we would have been fired, much less never be given a chance to run for President of the United States.
Now the man lies with his toothy beaver smile and two women died horribly because...well no one really knows Huckabee's motive for getting the lovely DuMond released.

The will to live is one of our greatest and strongest instincts. Those willing to end their lives are a bigger danger to their species than most anything. Because hey, if you’re going to end it all, why not take a few with you?
I’d like to say I feel sorry for the families these losers leave behind but I don’t. Generally the families of these sorry Darwin candidates have to go in hiding. Has anybody seen the family of those fine Columbine killers lately?

Come on. Every day in San Francisco, or somewhere in most all big cities, there’s lots of homosexual events going on. There are lots of gay bars and sometimes entire towns are populated mostly by homosexuals. San Francisco has this annual thing that has the queers out and about dressed in nothing but strategically placed body paint.
Why at the funerals of dead soldiers? Is the American public supposed to make that connection? Are we suppose to sit up and say…but of course, picket the funerals of dead soldiers to fight homosexuality! Why didn’t I think of this?
Those Moonbats in the Westboro church, something’s not right about these folks. Who’s giving them money to go all over the country with this stuff? More important, why aren’t they targeting those places that REALLY encourage homosexuality? Wouldn’t a protest at the famous San Francisco outdoor pervert party be a more appropriate place to set up some pickets, get the gay nuts on TV in front of our shocked eyes?
I think this group is one big ruse. They pose as an extreme right wing type of church and the dead soldier thing is just a way to get these things in front of the public eye since the photographing of coffins coming off of airplanes at Dover air force base has been stopped since all the damage that sight byte did to the Vietnam War.
Anyway, not that anyone’s surprised, the courts have once again ruled that the Westboro Moonbats have every right to continue their antics.

Instead, he was sentenced to life without parole. Franklin County Common Pleas Judges Eric Brown and John A. Connor voted for life and Judge Timothy S. Horton voted for death.
Such a fine man. His mother must be so proud of him.
