A True Crime With Enormous Social Ramifications
First, it’s not at all clear, based on the link below, if Manishkumar Patel is married to the woman that he caused to abort by putting a so-called abortion pill in a smoothie he bought for her.
The article does state that this woman has a daughter with Patel and that this is the second pregnancy that she believes Patel caused to be aborted. Only this time she went and had that smoothie tested and it came back positive for RU-486 drug. Patel, in other words, was caught dead guilty.
Second, this Patel fellow has quite the record. He’s got a rap sheet that includes sexual assault, violating a restraining order and some domestic abuse charges. Sort of the kind of fellow women with some sense would avoid. Yet the lady making this charge stayed with this nefarious guy and kept getting pregnant with him. Intentionally getting pregnant we must assume because he sneakily aborted the first baby with this drug and this time he aborted it again but got caught.

Which is not to blame the victim in this matter but at times one must wonder why women put themselves in so much very evident danger when it comes to men.
All the details of the alleged crime now discussed, this case is intriguing because I must wonder why that very woman making this charge could have, if she was of a mind, aborted that baby herself with no repercussions whatsoever. I am not, understand here, making any argument either anti or pro abortion. It is what it is and aborting an unborn baby is currently legal in this country, whatever one’s feelings might be about the matter. At least abortion by a female is legal.
My question, and argument, is that if the female can abort the baby with no crime, is there any law on the books specifically stipulating that the father cannot have the same choice? Going beyond the obvious fact that it is the woman’s body, still that unborn child was created by TWO people, why should one parent only have the right to decide whether to have the child or not?
I’m thinking like a defense attorney here because this fine Patel fellow WILL have a defense attorney, for sure. My defense would most certainly be that Mr. Patel should have as much right to abort his child as its mother.
Of course this defense won’t fly. Mr. Patel is an evil, evil man. He could have, just throwing it out there, taken the time to wear a condom that his ladies do not get pregnant or hey, even a vasectomy would end the problem forever. For sure he has no right to go slipping his pregnant ladies abortion pills against their will.
Just a hunch but I think this case should be very interesting.
Sean Taylor..The Story Changes Daily
Three suspects were picked up for the death of Redskin player Sean Taylor and what a fine looking bunch these fellows are.
FORT MYERS, Florida (CNN) -- Three men were charged Saturday with felony first-degree murder in the shooting death of NFL player Sean Taylor, a death police say was unplanned.
I’d speculated in an earlier post that it seemed odd that while Sean’s live-in girlfriend was home as well as the couple’s daughter, it was only Sean who got shot. So often, given this scenario, this kind of thing is a put up job. I questioned a possibility that Sean’s girlfriend was involved in this thing.
But as the days went by and suspects were rounded up, the mantra was that Sean had surprised these burglars in the act of…well burglaring. Sean was allegedly armed only with a hatchet as he crept down some hallway in his home in response to the noises he’d heard. A surprised burglar shot Taylor. Unfortunately that bullet hit the femoral artery in the thigh and Taylor bled to death despite desperate attempts to save him.
Just yesterday I heard across the cable air waves that there’s way more to this story than is known by the public. One example, although it had been repeatedly reported that the burglars were strangers, now it would seem that these fellows knew Sean on some level.
I am still curious why Sean’s girlfriend was left unharmed. An arranged burglary with a subsequent murder is frequently used by part of a couple who wants the other half dead. But surprised burglars do often shoot whoever surprised them and this is not unusual either.
Still there’s more to this case as has been sketchily reported.
We’re paying attention.
Teddy Bear Update

KHARTOUM, Sudan — Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, rallied Friday in a central square and demanded the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear "Muhammad."
Do not believe, for one minute, that this alleged “spontaneous” riot by those under-employed Muslims in the Sudan was anything less than a pre-arranged riot orchestrated by the Sudanese government.
It’s an old trick by governments run by nutty Muslims. When the citizens riot, as pre-arranged, the corrupt and very undemocratic regimes governing a nation can shrug their shoulders at the world as if to say “see, it isn’t US. If you give us grief, look at how our citizens react?”
There was even a time when Americans and other naïve, civilized folks on this planet believed this.
Yeah. It’s like herding cats to get a large and very diverse group to boom, drop everything and take to the streets in anger. Not to mention the convenience of having plenty of large signs at the ready and some big trucks, buses, etc to overcome transportation hurdles.
I got a bridge to sell cheap if anyone believes this nonsense.
What I think, I think the Sudanese corrupt Islamic government knew that they’d overplayed their hand with that naming a teddy bear Mohammad nonsense. First, it wasn’t this anglo teacher who named the toy bear Mohammad, it was her class. Second…come on. Those rioters probably didn’t care a bit about that teddy bear. More likely they were all slipped a few extra Sudan bucks and told to take to the streets and act mad. Kind of like an instant army.
Coincidentally, the Sudanese government, because of their own orchestrated riot, had to move Gillian Gibbons to a safer place than the jail in which she was held. Next thing you know, boom, Ms. Gibbons is at the British embassy. Who knows what her home country told those kooks running things in Sudan but you can be sure that it was expected that Gibbons was to be returned quickly and with no harm to her person.
This whole incident was created by somebody and my guess is that Sudan doesn’t much like normal people working their country because they’ve managed to gain power and they want to keep it. Can’t have the truth getting out.
Drew Peterson…More Information Revealed Almost Daily

Investigators were at a hangar at Cushing Field in Newark, about 30 miles west of Joliet, for about an hour Friday morning, said Michael Hudetz, a flight instructor who also sells micro-lights. Hudetz said he showed investigators Drew Peterson's two-seater Aquilla Trike and the hangar where Peterson keeps it. "They asked a lot of questions," Hudetz said. "They seemed very interested in how it works. They wanted to know where the people sit, where they put their feet. They wanted to know how the (aircraft's) parachute works." Investigators also asked Hudetz if there were any "barrels" at the airfield. About two years ago, Hudetz trained Drew Peterson to fly his micro-light, which run about $20,000 new, the flight instructor said. "He was actually a private pilot before that," Hudetz said. "He flew regular airplanes. He seemed like a very nice guy." Sometimes Peterson flew alone, but he had also flown with his wife, Hudetz said.
Just when I was absorbing all of the above, with blue barrels still dancing around in my head, I then hear that the lovely Drew Peterson was all busy at some truck stop recruiting drivers to take a “special” package far, far away from the scene.
But there’s more.
It’s no secret that Peterson’s third wife somehow managed to “drown” in a dry bathtub. A healthy woman dead in such a manner would, in most cases, raise alarms with investigators but the Illinois police? Not so much.

But Peterson's wife could never get authorities to arrest him. In fact, she was the only one ever charged.
Eighteen times police were called to the home of their fine fellow officer because of domestic problems and never was anything done to Drew but get this…SHE was charged twice!
So a woman drowns in a dry bathtub and there’s evidently a history of domestic disputes but still her death is ruled an accident?
More information was released regarding Stacy Peterson’s relationship with Drew’s third wife, Kathleen Savio.
Animosity between current and former wives isn’t anything unusual. Stacy Peterson was evidently a very naïve and trusting child, barely out of adolescence when she met the lovely Drew. Still and so, there’s plenty more evidence out there regarding problems between Drew and Savio, all discovered by some enterprising reporters searching the records.
Yet the Bolingbrook police couldn’t find any of this it would seem. Savio, heh, evidently fell down in a dry bathtub and died. Yeah. That’s the ticket.

Among the items seized were ELEVEN guns!
But of course Drew wants his stuff back. Further, he would like an apology from those police who would dare suggest him guilty of crimes.
I would not be surprised if the Illinois State Police give Drew his stuff back. Give those Bolingbrook and Illinois State Police enough time and likely they will call Stacy’s disappearance an accident.

Female Teacher Arrested for Sex With 14 Year Old
She’s 34. He’s 14. Let’s see, this makes her 20 years older, old enough to be his mother, in fact.

Jennifer Tarkenton, 34, of Lake Mary, was arrested on three counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child 12 or older by a person over the age of 18.
Too often these seductions between female teacher and male student bring a smirk and a yuk from those of us who noticed pretty teachers during that time when puberty was making such notice inevitable.
Until it’s YOUR 14 year old son seduced by some teacher who should have, go with me here, known better.
No, every young boy’s wet dream coming to fruition is NOT a good thing. Teachers should keep their hands off of their young charges.
Why don’t the mighty teachers’ unions negotiate that such a thing will result in the immediate termination of teachers doing this stuff, never to be hired in a public school again?

For two and a half year the Aruban and Dutch investigators fooled around with this case, "arresting" many suspects, including those three Aruban brats, then letting them go.
Suddenly, in November of 2007 Joran and the Kalpoe brothers are arrested. An announcement by Aruban authorities came with news of the arrests that "new and incriminating" evidence had been found.
